This is what whill happens to your coupling when you didn’t change coupling element in one year. The coupling will be broken up to pieces like the pictures below and may cause a serious breakdown to your compressor.
Without coupling your air-end will be misalignment and the ’teeth’ of your air-end may break apart causing the air-end to be jammed and cannot be used anymore. This will cause a major repairing and your production can be down for months.
We suggest our customers to change the coupling element every third of service so your air-end can run at its full potential and optimum.
